Introducing Nubby, the adorable pup who was born without front legs and was at risk of not surviving. Vets thought he would perish as his siblings kept pushing him out of the way. Fortunately, Lou Robinson, the founder of Warriors Educate About Rescue, took Nubby in as a foster mum. With her husband’s help, they made sure that Nubby had all the necessary care for his survival. After a few days, Nubby started thriving despite his physical disability. However, he soon developed health issues and stopped pooping and eating. They rushed him to the vet, who discovered that Nubby had pneumonia and an esophageal abnormality that trapped his milk. Although he went through a lot, Nubby is now back with his foster parents and taking it day by day. He recently turned five weeks old and loves to snuggle with his dad. Despite his challenges, his foster family is determined to fight for his quality of life.
His brothers and sisters were shoving him aside, putting him in grave danger of losing his life.
“He accompanied me to my place… Time passed by, day three turned into day seven, then day 10, followed by day 16, and Nubby flourished.”
As he awakened, his senses came to life and he began to explore the world around him through his eyes, ears, and nose. With each passing moment, he discovered new sounds and scents, and eventually found his own voice.
Suddenly, an unexpected problem arose. The furry friend was diagnosed with pneumonia and an issue with their esophagus.
There was a small structure in his throat that was blocking the flow of his milk.
The furry little pup has returned to its temporary caretakers, and they are approaching each day as it comes.
At a mere 5 weeks old, this little one already has a clear favorite activity – cuddling with his beloved dad. It’s heartwarming to see the bond that has formed between them so early on.
We are determined to give him a shot at a better life, and we won’t give up until he has a fair chance.
The young dog is currently filled with joy, constantly craving attention and already displaying mischievous behavior. Despite initial doubts, the pup has managed to overcome its obstacles and is thriving in life. As the saying goes, “Life always finds a way.”
